One of my favorite parts of photography is talking to each family and discovering what they love about their life. Our daily lives are so busy and stressful that we often don’t take a moment to stop and reflect on our loved ones. That’s where I come in! Through my chats with mom and dad, I’m able to help each person recognize those little moments that mean the most to them.
When I was first contacted about this session, mom knew she wanted pictures reflecting her life with 2 little girls and another baby on the way. She explained that her and her husband love the weekends because its their chance to get away from work and relax but there was still a lot that needed to happen during their days off. By talking together, I found out that grocery shopping as a family was especially meaningful for their family. She loved that it was a chance to teach the kids about healthy eating, they got treats after their trip, and weekends would eventually change into something else. In 20 years when the kids are grown, she wanted to look back at these days with fondness. For that she needed pictures and thus, this session was born.
What simple routine do you want to remember in 20 years? Let’s plan that session together.
